Personalized Entrance

personalized entrance

Personalize the entrance to your ceremony or reception in an instant with store-bought wooden initials. To display, loop wide satin ribbon around each letter. Knot ribbon at least one foot above letter, leaving ends long enough to create a bow (for letters that aren’t easily looped, hot-glue ribbon to letter’s back, and tie into a knot); hang on an over-the-door hanger. Tie ribbon ends into a bow and trim with pinking shears. Attach self-adhesive felt pads to backs of letters to protect door. This will add a touch of class and personalization to the entryway!

Bridesmaid Lunches

lunches

From bustling your gown to fetching relatives for photos, your bridesmaids’ wedding-day work is never done. Miniature lunch boxes, packed in advance, provide a midday snack and a small token of gratitude. Choose the nibbles (make sure they don’t stain!) favored by your attendants, and nestle them in boxes with napkins and drinks. These cute little boxes are sealed and secured with bands of decorative paper and adhesive seals bearing each name.

What’s Inside:
1. water
2. cookies
3. cheese and crackers
4. chocolates
5. mints
6. white grapes

Easy Centerpiece Idea

centerpiece

This centerpiece is simple and stunning. It is sure to make a dramatic effect. All that they did was submerged phalaenopsis orchids in a cylinder filled with water. The stems of the orchids were anchored with black pebbles inside vases, and then topped them with floating candles, which provided a gorgeous glow. This idea is easy to make yourself and can be altered to meet your needs, just change out the type of flower and the color of the pebbles and you have a centerpiece perfect for any wedding.

Chocolate and Strawberry Cream Collection

I love this set from Wedding Star. The Chocolate and Strawberry Cream Collection is absolutely beautiful and I love how it would reflect the colors of the wedding. If your colors are pink and chocolate brown then this is a must have. This set includes ring pillow, flower girl basket, guest book, pen holder, cake server set, toasting flutes and garter. All of which match perfectly. Plus if you only want a few of the items they are also sold separately. I am not sure if I would want the complete set or not but I do know that the pillow, flower girl basket, guest book, and pen holder would be a must for me. What do you guys think? Do you like the colored accessories or would you keep the traditional white?

Potato Chips at a Wedding!?!

chips

I would have to say that my greatest weakness is…okay are you ready for this….potato chips. There I said it. I am obsessed with potato chips and would opt for them over chocolate any day. I know a lot of you just gasped when I said that, but it is true. If you are a potato chip lover like I am them why not have them at your wedding. Your wedding is support to be all about you and what better why to showcase that then serving your favorite item. Plus I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t like potato chips. I would never ask you to sacrifice style for this little guilty pleasure that is why I found this ultra chic way of serving potato chips. This takes potato chips from ho hum to yum yum, in no time. Guest Platter?

platter

I think this is a very fun and unique idea. This platter is signed by everyone in the wedding party and can be used later for dinner parties. The permanent black marker is specially designed to write on porcelain finishes and the platter comes with detailed instructions on how to preserve your signatures and use for years to come. I think this is a fun way of remembering your wedding and something you could easily bring out at all your wedding anniversaries to remember your big day.
