Brides are becoming very savvy and are going for bridesmaid dresses that can be repurposed. No longer will you find dresses that make you look like Little Bo-Peep. Brides are much kinder these days and picking dresses that are classy and beautiful. In doing so, many brides are opting for black dresses for their bridesmaids. The black dress is something that every girl needs in her closet. Plus, it is a dress that can be used over and over again for various occasions. The black dress is defiantly big right now and bridesmaids everywhere are thankful for that! Dress Pictured

Fun Wedding Game
We’ve all been there—the interminable bridal shower or wedding reception. Here’s an inventive way to add excitement to the occasion and create a priceless keepsake for the bride and groom. Gamesakes Wedding Game lets you share sentimental or silly memories of the bride and groom by writing them down on cards. Record memories of life’s journeys from birth (“Mary said her first word today”) to present day (“Mary said I Do!”) and move your pawn along the game board path. The first player to reach “I Do!” wins. More fun than a guest book, longer lasting than a toast, the cards can be filled out at a shower then placed at the table settings of any wedding-related event as conversation starters and decorations. Includes game board, 300 gift cards (to be completed by family and friends), 4 pens, 1 die, 6 pawns, directions and instruction card. For ages 12 yrs. and up. Check it out!

Sugar and Tea Favors
I must have a thing for tea today because here is another cute favor that I found. One of the vials pictured above is filled with heart shaped drop tea and the other is filled with heart shaped sugar cubes. These would be perfect given as a pair or separate. You could even give the sugar vials with a cute package of personalized coffee. Either way this is a unique favor that I love. Buy This Item!
Whole Leaf Tea Sachet Favors
Here is a cute little idea for all you tea lovers out there. Well actually anyone, because I don’t even like tea and I love this favor. This is a tea sachet and they are able to be personalized especially for your special day. Each silken fabric tea sachet is filled with natural whole leaf teas, rough-cut herbs and flowers. The sachets are individually hand crafted, and yield two cups of tea. The open weave of the fabric allows the tea leaves to unfurl, the flavors to mingle, and the robust tea to flow right through the sachet into your cup. The tea sachets are available in Ginger, Flora, Citrus, Mint, Jasmine, Earl Grey, Forte, Oasis, and Chamomile. Check it out!

Signature Mat and Frame~Guest Book Alterative
Another alterative to a guest book is to buy a photo frame with a signature (acid-free-to avoid fading) mat—like the one above. As the guests come in, have them sign the mat. Then you can place your engagement or wedding photo in the center and you will be able to hang the photo and forever remember who shared your special day! See the frame pictured!
Photo Guest Book
Instead of having an ordinary guestbook, that you hardly will look at again, you can create a photo guest book. All you have to do is to assign a couple people to be guestbook attendants. Then as the guests arrive have the guestbook attendants take Polaroid’s of each guest. They can be taken individually or in the group they arrive in. Then put the pictures in a guestbook/scrapbook and have the guests sign the bottom of their picture. This gives you a book you can enjoy forever. Plus you may actually look at this one again.
Shoe Cake
This has to be the cutest cake I have seen in a while. It may not be good for a wedding but it is perfect for a wedding shower! Maybe it is because of my obsession of shoes, but I love this cake and think that it is simply irresistible. I love how the Prada and Manolo shoe boxes are staked and the detail is impeccable. The shoe on the top of the cake even has a tag on the inside. I think I may be in love with this cake! By Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, http://www.weddingcakes.com/.
